~JL~
This has been the most enjoyable semester of my college career, mainly because of my Mondays. Even when I wake up late, I never feel like, “ughhh, here we go again!” This class has taught me a lot about contemporary artists and their work, most of which I never would have been exposed to in any other way. My most favorite artist was Skip Schuckmann, however Nashat and Richie really stuck out in my mind. I like Schuckmann because he’s really down to earth, his work is about literally recreating the landscape and I find it to be very soothing. Gregory Green is an interesting guy, too, but for completely different reasons. The hardest part of this class has been the reflection aspect. Many of these artists were quite peculiar and I wasn’t sure exactly what to say. The book didn’t seem to match up with the artists once I did me research on them. I love online research, the resources are endless and you’re bound to come up with truly unique stuff.
If I were to give myself a grade; on attendance and participation I would give myself a 9.5, I missed one class because I was really, really sick and went to student health instead of class, which I think should be excused but I still actually wanted to come to class, and on the blog, I would give myself a 7.5 because I really like the research aspect and made the blog my own, however I didn’t always reflect on the artists, but I have commented on other classmates thoughts of the artists.
Thanks, Mr. Lincoln, for a truly enjoyable class. See you on Monday for the potluck!

I’ll add your two scores which will add up to a score between 2 and 20 and multiply them by five. I’ll also cross reference with how regularly you updated your blog and your attendance in the class.)
